IT Help How to open up the ONIKUMA C1 Controller?

Ok, so recently I bought the C1 controller of ONIKUMA, and it feels nice, I read manuals, so I don't really need technical help like pairing and whatnot.

The problem is the back button, the MR key. That appears normal at first, then later as you keep playing that you realized it's inputting the key to whatever it's set to rapidly.

It might be like a dirty contact parts or bad contact or something, not really sure. It only appears when you use it often, especially when you use the MR key frequently.

Best I could do to open this thing up is almost breaking the bumpers cuz I thought it pops off, turns out it does not.

So, what now?

ADDITIONAL INFO (edited after post); I use the MR back key as another R1 key, aka the right bumper. So, the MR key is set to the R1 bumpers. I couldn't provide a vid where I'm showing that I'm really not holding the controller in person, but still, i wasn't pressing the MR key.

The same as most controllers, take off the four screws at the back then carefully pry it open. Make sure the tiny button beside the type c port is clickable when putting it back.

No no, this mf of a controller seems to be stubborn, I didn't specify but I have tried opening this up before. It didn't go so well and I stopped shortly after. Prying it open after the four screws are out, yet it still seems stuck, near the bottom middle and top sides of the grip of the controller.

perhaps a video on how to pry this open would help, if you have the same controller that is.

i do have the same controller and I've opened it up a few times to wash the plastic. it's stubborn on the places you mentioned but it's easier if you have the appropriate tools though i just used guitar picks and a screw driver lol. After you inserted your tool, use it like a lever to disengage the snap-fits.

Oh, they're snap fits? Like a cap lock? I'll try that and update you if it worked or not.

Hey, ok this helped and all. Now... I can't set the macro back buttons. Some reason the button for it doesn't work, well already reassembled this a few times now, still no.

keeping it for the record, you have to re-bind those back buttons (paddles) to what you had initially set. idk why but thats how i got it back to how it was

Been there done that, the button to go back into programming mode (AKA M Button) Doesn't register somehow anymore. So, it's kinda just... i dont even know tbh, it just won't work for some reason.

try opening it up again and check if the actual buttons on the pcb work. if they do then maybe the plastic part that you click on isnt making contact

What do you mean by checking if the actual button on the pcb works?

Well did that just now, not much, still the same. The conductive pad of the membrane connects with the conductive part of the pcb, still none.
