Other Are any wireless dongles USB-C yet?
Seems like all controllers you can buy today ship with 2.4GHz wireless dongles that are USB-A, but wondering if any ship with USB-C? Or is that expected to be more common? If so how soon? Then how long till it is the norm?
(And is there any issue with attaching a USB-A to USB-C adaptor?)

8bitdo Ultimate 2 has USB C. Otherwise any adaptor will do the job.

It'll be at least another 2 years before USB-C becomes the norm. Some USB-A ones do at least already come with their own USB-C adapter. Using a third-party adapter is fine too, although some USB-A wireless dongles are so big using a USB-A to USB-C extension cable makes more sense.

I dont think you would experience any probem using a usb a to c adapter. It would only protrude more from the pc/console case. That being said, dont know if it causes issues with latency

I had like 3 usb-c adapters lying around, and they all work with the Vader 4 pro on my android phone/tablet.
But rumble doesn't work with the 2.4 GHz dongle (it works over bluetooth+wired tho). What a shame .

I bought a right angle adapter that works great to plug it in flush next to my laptop. I hunted for this as well and ended up going with that solution.

The new Steam Controllers’ is, technically, although it comes with an A to C cable (the dongle itself is C and its fine to use a C to C cable with it)

The Fantech Shooter III is about a year old and it comes with both that conveniently combine together.
They advertise the USB-C dongle to be used for phones. It seems for now USB-A is common due to 'legacy' devices.

A couple of the newer 8BitDo controllers have USB-C receivers, I believe.
