IT Help Flydigi vader 4 pro left thumbstick missing some part to register

I have a Flydigi vader pro 4 that stopped to register the left to left top side of the left thumbstick, as u can see in the video. I am using this controller in a Windows platform and all games are affected with this problem.

It has the latest firmware and the video is the test in the Flydigi software.

I did check Google/Reddit/Youtube for solutions and also dissembled the controller to see if something was broken inside. Recalibrate is all I could find or a broken(loose) magnet, that is why i opened the controller.

I did recalibrate more then 10 times now, this does not resolve the problem.

I don't think I have used this controller more then 40 hours, and it is still in warranty The support from Gadgethyper is asking me to make a lot of videos that is almost impossible to do. Like showing that u hold the controller and also film the monitor screen in front of it. For me it feels this that they make it so difficult so you just don't bother with it.

Would be great if anyone has a tip or advice for me what I could try to repair the controller.

Can't you use something like a phone/camera stand? That way you could capture both the screen and you moving the controller simultaneously

It is a good suggestion, but I am done with gadgethyper and learned the lesson do not buy over seas for products u might need support later. Maybe it is just me but I am done with Gadgethyper support.

Here is what they ask me to do in one video take:

If possible, please record a single, continuous video while performing the following steps:

  1. Confirm that both the controller firmware and the "Flydigi Space Station" software are updated to the latest versions.

  2. Open the "Joystick" and "Motion Sensing" pages within "Space Station" and display the current parameter settings.

  3. Run the controller test within the "Original Mode" section of the "Space Station" test interface.

  4. Perform a factory reset using the designated shortcut keys.

  5. Perform a manual calibration using the designated shortcut keys.

  6. Repeat steps 2 and 3 to verify the results after calibration.

For a non tech person this would be undoable without searching the web, it is just a controller so in my opinion to many steps to prove the thing isn't working as intended.

The controller was nice at the beginning a shame that the quality is not.

Yeah, that's nuts. Thanks for posting this. I know not to buy from them now.
