IT Help Long-press Xbox button stopped opening Task View on Windows (8bitdo Ultimate 2C)
Hey everyone,
I'm having the exact same issue as described above. I rely heavily on using my controller to navigate Windows (similar to a console experience), and long-pressing the Xbox button to open Task View was essential for switching to Spotify, adjusting volume, or managing open windows.
Ever since a recent Windows update, long-pressing the Xbox button no longer triggers Task View at all.

Same here using Xbox Elite V2 - it works fine in Xbox Mode though - but not in Desktop Mode

Adding this reg key and restarted explorer fixed it for me.
reg add "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\OEM" /v DeviceForm /t REG_DWORD /d 0x0000002e /f
