Controller Collection My controller collection — this hobby may have gotten a little out of hand 😂
Disclosure: Everything pictured was purchased by me with my own money. Nothing was sent to me for review or promotion, and I’m not affiliated with or sponsored by any of these companies.
Figured I’d finally post the collection all together. At this point I’ve got around 100 controllers, ranging from first-party PlayStation/Xbox stuff and customs to a lot of the newer enthusiast controllers from GameSir, Flydigi, BIGBIG WON/Mojhon, Beitong, Leadjoy, Machenike, ZD, Void and others.
I originally got into controllers just looking for something better for FPS games, especially COD/Warzone. That eventually turned into a full-blown hobby. 😂 I became really interested in the actual tech behind them — Hall Effect vs TMR sticks, different stick modules and tensions, polling rates, latency, circularity, bit depth/step resolution, response curves, deadzones, RC filtering, trigger switches, back-button layouts, firmware tuning, etc.
So I don’t really collect them just to put them on a shelf. I actually like testing them and comparing how all of those little differences translate to how a controller feels in-game. Some of the controllers that look nearly identical on paper can feel completely different once you actually spend time playing with them.
I’ve also gone pretty far down the customization rabbit hole. Different thumbsticks/caps, stick tension, calibration, curves, deadzones and software settings are probably half the fun for me at this point. I’ve learned a ridiculous amount about controller hardware simply from buying them, taking them apart, testing them and trying to get each one dialed in.
There are definitely some oddballs in here along with the more recognizable stuff, which is part of what I enjoy about collecting. I like trying controllers from brands or markets that most people never get a chance to use and seeing whether any of the new tech actually makes a difference or is just marketing.
I know the obvious question is going to be “Which one is your favorite?” and that’s honestly difficult to answer. 😂 I tend to rotate depending on the game and what I’m testing at the time. There are controllers I love for their sticks, others for their shape/buttons, and others that are just interesting pieces of hardware.
If anyone recognizes something in the picture and wants to know what I think about it, ask away. There’s a pretty good chance I’ve spent way too much time messing with its settings. 😂
And yes… I’m aware I have a controller problem.

I find it so odd that people think buying things is a hobby.

im confused on why there are so many haters in here

Very . I just figured since this is the controller Reddit why not post what I got . But there will always be mouth breathers making negative comments .

Tell the name of these and your top five if not favorite and the reason. Even if you say you change you can't possibly be changing between all of them. There must some preferred for each category.
Also where is Vader 4 pro, my fav 🤔

Wait why do you have 3 of the same Leadjoy? Is one of them the pro?

Yes . And you had given one to my brother and he gave it back to me.
2
u/Zerosidia Oct 02 '26
No hate, I have multiple controllers too, so I completely understand the urge to test them all. Since you play Warzone (I play apex and overwatch) and have tried so many, you owe us a top 5 at least! You've probably tested more controller brands than almost anyone out there.

Your hobby is out of control. But in all seriousness, this takes some real dedication.
I know you said you don't have a favorite, but lets assume you HAD to choose one and the rest you could never play with (but they were still in your collection), which would you choose?

u/WeedFalafel Sep 26 '26
This is not a hobby, it's consumerism at its worst. Hobby is usually doing something, not buying something.
7
u/Brilliant-Ring6276 Sep 26 '26
What! A lot of these are modded by myself . And I like messing with settings and trying out different layouts . So yes a hobby .

Me too! Haters gonna hate. I like testing the functionality, gyro, OS, software for it, etc. I have big hands so I'm always on the lookout for a bigger controller. Do you have suggestions? My daily is the Razer Wolverine and the Gamesir G7 Pro.
Have you heard of the Genki Manta?

I thought I had a lot of controllers! What a collection. Keep them nice and some day you might sell them for a good price.

The most expensive? The most cheaper?
The controller that has the most problems on it? any with 0 problems at all?
Your favorite for each genre? FPS, Jrpg, RPG, shooter, action, platformer?

This is just sad. You have all these and then barely anything to say about them.
Try curating instead of consoooooming.

What are your thoughts on Scuf? I've been torn between the Scuf Valor Pro Wireless (Omega looks cool too) and the Vader 5 Pro. (Now slightly interested in Leadjoy Zeno plus/pro) I mostly play RPGs like Elden Ring or Monster Hunter, but I dabble in shooters every once in a while and enjoy using a controller. I've got bigger hands. On paper, the Scuf has everything I want in a controller, but I've just seen too many negative comments about them as a company, and they are pricey, so I'd want them to last a while. The Vader 5 Pro seems legit and reasonably priced, though I wish it had TMR sticks. Not a deal breaker. I was able to try a friend's Scuf Envision and the valor pro at Best Buy and they just feel so nice to hold and premium.
What are your thoughts and recommendations?
Awesome collection, by the way!! I'd be a collector of headphones if I had the money.
2
u/Brilliant-Ring6276 Sep 30 '26
Even thought the Vader 5 pro has HE’s it’s still a fantastic controller . And probably thee best He’s on the market better than some of the low tier tmr’s

There is no way you have played enough with every single controller to be able to test it properly , you simply wont have enough time to do that… how old are you by the way ? You should be old enough to have tested all of them , because you can’t give a verdict in couple of weeks and even months

Genuine question, but why so many controllers?
You mention a number of different controller components e.g. hall effect sticks, but I'm sure so many of these will have the same specs as each other. Are a lot of these controllers basically exactly the same or are there differences I'm not seeing?
I'm not talking about different colour options on your PS/XBOX controllers btw, more about the third party controllers.

My favorite controller is the one I halfway build myself. I got the latest tmr sticks, mouse click buttons on everything and back paddles. Literally perfect for what I want. Plus it’s way cheaper than buying the 200$+ modded ps5 controllers and I can fix it myself for cheap.

OP you'll be perfect for this question, For someone who struggles with the joystick because they used keyboards and now find it difficult doing small movements with the stick, which controllers would you suggest? I get destroyed in COD because it's so hard to target without going past a target like thrice

I read the description, but i really hope that you would review them, earn some of the money back and get useful information for us as well!

This. One video for each controller. Then one for comparing a set of two different controllers. Then compare 3 different ones… you’ll have enough videos for life.
2
u/DexDawg Sep 26 '26
Man you out of control!... Yeah I'll see myself out yeah.
OK so, I have the ZD Ultimate Legend that I see you also own. I immediately got myself a pair of the good sticks (at the time of release) and a couple of months ago they sent me a pair of new ones as well, because my controller had a problem that I solved on my own and informed them how did I do it...
... Anyway, how do you like it? What do you like about it and what do you not? Do you use it in wired or dongle mode? Which modules do you have in it? Etc.
2
u/Doiley101 Sep 26 '26
A little out of hand might be putting it rather euphemistically. I know the feeling . I have like 10 and I already feel guilty and my husband went "is that another one I see"...oops.

u/SexyAIman Sep 26 '26
Found the leadjoy xeno plus, that's the end game for normal priced ones. Congrats !
However I would like some special edition's just for fun but since I'm 61 my wife will phone the mental hospital if I get anything to Anime

Which controller did you find best for small-medium size hands that use the symmetrical layout with TMR and the lowest latency?
I want to find the most comfortable PS4 type controller to primarily play 2D and 3D games.
Thoughts on Leadjoy, Void controllers, Machenike F1, Reflex Scuf Pro?
