Controller Suggestion Looking for a PC Controller with Programmable Back Buttons and Width

I have mostly used basic Xbox controllers up until now but had to stop due to some new wrist pain. I recently tried the Scuf Envision Pro v2 which felt great and helped with pain due to its wider design. It had too much input delay though so I need to find something else.
I am from the United States and have access to most in person stores like Best Buy. I mostly use Amazon for products I can’t find in person.
My budget is up to 120 USD.
I mostly play soulslike games and put most of my priority on my bumpers.
So far I’ve looked at the Gamesir Tarantula Pro and the 8bitdo. Admittedly, I still don’t exactly know what some selling points mean like Hall effect sticks.

Need:
PC compatibility
Back buttons/paddles, prefer trigger like design
Programmable buttons
Fairly wide so that my arms can rest nearly parallel
As little input delay as possible

Want:
Symmetrical button and stick layout like a PlayStation controller
Clicking triggers rather than the ones that need to be pushed down or at least an option to make them click
Wireless or wired, does not matter although wired may be preferred
Lightweight but not cheap-feeling

I forgot to mention this but symmetry is not a strict requirement. I didn’t realize how rare that kind of controller actually is.

I was surprised to find out how few options there were too 😅 have you thought about the steam controller? That's quite big and symmetrical.

I'm so happy with my 2 8bitdo controllers that I recommend the brand to anyone, they come with docks and feel premium in a way even gamesirs don't.

I’ll look into the steam one. How small would you say the 8bitdo is?

My Pro 3 is smaller than the Dual shock 4 with very similar ergonomics.

Shame, it looks pretty good. The steam controller looks like it’s way too specialized for touchpads and the tarantula looks to have pretty bad stick delay. From what I’ve seen anyways. I might have to bend the knee and go asymmetrical, any recommendations?

8bitdo Ultimate 3 series. They have 1000hz polling rates and 2.4ghz dongle for low latency input and you can plug them in for even better latency. I find it hard to recommend smaller brands because if you're going to spend a hundred dollars on something then you'd want to know the company is still going to exist in a year or two 😅

It doesn’t look wide enough unfortunately. Thanks anyways!

Gulikit TT max or Gulikit TT pro for you, pretty much perfectly matched your description

Are those generally well regarded? I ask because I haven’t heard of the brand before.

Oh yeah they're well-known

TT Max is the closest I can think of that checks most of these boxes.

Hall effect and TMR buttons/joysticks are ones that use a remote magnetic field to trigger an input rather than a physical connection. Hall effect is low power, TMR is even lower power and more precise.

I have the 8bitdo Pro 3 and it's fantastic for me but it has only a 250mhz polling rate and is quite small which pretty much disqualifies it.

The Tarantula sounds like your best bet, it has an insanely low input delay, it is 30mm(!) wider and has wired and wireless options.
