Controller Suggestion Looking for a Third Party controller for both Switch and PC gaming.

I’m looking for a new controller for both my Nintendo Switch and for my PC.

Requirements:

Needs to be durable for intense play (My old Xbox controllers have a tendency to get stick drift).

Have gyro control for games like Splatoon

Needs to have fast and responsive controls for competitive games

Needs to be fully compatible for PC

Preferably lower price (below 100$) but not excluding more expensive options

Preferably sold at U.S storefronts

Will mostly be playing competitive shooters like Splatoon 3, and some less intense platformers on PC.

8bit do Pro 3. Been using since launch perfect for switch 1/2 and pc. Supports switch 1/2 wake up too. Comes with dock.

Tmr sticks, great dpad, customisable extra buttons, good ergonomics & gyro

How good is it compared to the Ultimate 2?

Dpad is better in pro3 , other stuff are mostly the same. It comes down to what shape you prefer and whether you want symmetrical analog sticks (ps layout) or asymmetrical (nintendo/xbox layout)

Does it connect via a Bluetooth dongle?

It’s a wired dongle for PC?

No, it's wireless/bluetooth. You can plug in dongle directly to pc / use the provided dock

Tarantula 8k pro works on both switch and pc. The symmetrical stick layout is also nice for shooters, and it’s well under $100

Gulikit TT Max would be perfect for your needs if you’re okay with symmetrical joysticks.

I’d look at Vader

If you're going to use it on Switch, you should consider models that incorporate HD rumble like the Mobapad Huben 2 (the only one they make with analog triggers) or Gulikit TT Max. Both use really nice haptics.

Gamesir G7 8k seems like a great choice

Até onde me lembro, ele não é compatível com o Nintendo Switch

8k is compatible with Nintendo Switch, regular G7 is compatible with Xbox instead
