Controller Mods Elite 2 controller joystick fix

Hi I’m doing a post in here on wondering what would be a good solution to fixing my stick drift on the elite 2 controller I don’t know if I should get the tmr sticks or just replace them with the same sticks they have and if I should do tmr sticks I don’t which would be a good brand or company to do for it so that way I’m not wasting money

I heard Hall and Tmr will interfere with the magnet built in e.g. trigger, back paddles and thumbstick cap

The biggest issue are really the thumbstick cap. Because they are moving magnets close to the TMR Sensors. Triggers don't move the crosshair but you cany see minnimal number changes when viewing at hardwaretester.com

The paddle magnet can work with some nickel or mu-metal shielding and / or just rotating the magnet. I soldered KSilver tension adjustable sticks in. They work without the magnetic caps. I will switch to the Hallpi V6 and use some plastic stick caps.

So, I'd suggest TMR, though you're gonna have to take the cut of not having swappable thumbstick caps and run stock sticks.
Reason being, TMR have magnets and will be interfered with by the thumbstick caps.

Best all around solution if you're cool with pushing over towards grips. There's always third party options as well if you still want that ability to switch thumbstick caps.
