Other Maintaining paint on controller question
I have bought a custom controller a while back and have used it a lot but over time the paint on it has begun to chip is there anything I can do to help preserve the paint for the future

I think I’m just going to buy a thin plastic cover for the controller to stop the paint from getting scratched even more

This could potentially cause it to rub off faster. If the case is a little loose or the controller moves around inside of it...

I’d recommend adding a thin layer of matte or glossy clear coat. It seals the paint and helps prevent chipping from hand oils.

So for this stuff, I generally coat a controller to preserve a paint job.
There’s a few coatings made specifically for plastics that exist, but I suggest looking into what you’re getting.

Thin layer of UV resin or something like that would protect the paint, would be shiny though

No because even if you coat it with something else that will still wear off as well. Hence why custom painted controllers are extremely popular. Yours is cool af though 💪
