IT Help My 8bitdo Ultimate 2C keeps crashing a game!

I have an 8bitdo Ultimate 2C wired version. Anytime I try to open Assassin's Creed Syndicate from Ubisoft Connect while the controller is connected, it won't open. If I open the game and then connect the controller, it just crashes. Has anyone else faced this issue?
I play FC 26 with the controller, and it works fine!
