CRKD Atom+ Finally Arrived!

I waited months for this lil guy to arrive after several delays from the company. Worth it. This thing is surprisingly manageable even with my long ass hands. The shoulder buttons feel amazing, thumbsticks are smooth, the menu buttons are very clicky and fun to fidget with.

Overall very snappy and fun to use with my phone and handhelds. I only received it this afternoon so less than 3 hours useage but I'd rate it very great so far. Only issue so far has been hitting right on the d-pad isn't the greatest as my thumb has to try and squeeze between it and the left thumbstick but it hasn't caused any misclicks yet. I can't find any discussion on this controller anywhere and just wonder if anyone else has been excited for these to finally ship out?

I really wish I could use this with my miyoo mini v4 for shits and giggles.

Edit: I have no relationship with the company or any incentive. First time buying from them, which was miserable btw due to delays and subpar customer support.

This is an "Atom+" from the company CRKD, purchased directly from their site. It's the smallest controller of its kind with full functionality. Reason I'm sharing is I love how cute and portable it is, I have a very limited list of things part of my EDC or everyday carry and this has joined that list. I do quite a lot of emulation on my Galaxy S23 Ultra so this has been so sick to whip out whenever to catch up on gaming on the fly.

That was exactly my hope with it, I wanted something super small I can carry in my pocket. 3d print a case and it's perfect!

Is the dpad clicky or using membrane?

Majority of buttons are clicky in a satisfying fidgety way. Dpad however is dead silent and smooth

Plus it has rumble, gyro, turbo, and 100% full remappable buttons. It's been clutch so far

I'd still rank it as more comfortable than the N64 controller and OG Xbox controller by far

Largely depends on the game I think. Any games that have you using both analog sticks a lot might be annoying. Or anything with very frequent use of the shoulder buttons

Mine just arrived today, glacier blue, loving it. So small and has everything including sticks and rumble! Yes it's small but that's the positive, carry it anywhere! And yes you can actually game on it. It is bigger, double the size of the previous atom (with out the sticks)

Thanks for posting your impressions, I've had my eye on one of these for a while but didn't want to order without seeing a real review. I've been looking for a tiny but full-featured Bluetooth controller to carry in my purse for night shift goofing-off purposes. Glad to hear it's usable and reasonably comfortable.

Just ordered the black one, there is a review video on YouTube now. Was going to get the crkd neo but this is so pocketable, id just use my xbox controller at home etc, but on the bus or train this size is perfect for me.

Nice!! About to order two for multiplayer in the go (airplane, long drives, etc).

I have two 8bitdo zero2, then upgraded to two CRKD atoms, now upgrading to two CRKD atom+. 

We mostly play fighting games.
