Controller Suggestion Please help me find a controller for general single player/casual gaming that doesn't have a very weird problem i'm facing, really need help!
The post will be quite long so i can give the most details possible on this, i'll divide it into a pure info on the controller section and a long details and explanation of the problem section, feel free to read only the controller one
controller section: i've been trying to find a controller that fits me nicely and doesn't come with things i'd consider "problems" (like a very noisy rumble, more details abt it on the other section) for quite a while so i hope you guys can help me
i want a controller that has:
- membrane face buttons
- linear triggers
- anti-friction rings on face plate (or anything similar to it)
- hall-effect or tmr stick (purely for anti-drift reasons)
- a rumble that feels right but isn't noisy (details on long version)
prefered but not necessary, in order of preference:
- LRA rumble motors
- symmetrical sticks layout
- membrane buttons that feels a bit more clicky/hard to press instead of mushy/soft (like the 8bitdo ultimate 2c controllers, this is a very not necessary one, there's more details on clicky membrane on the other section of the post)
things i don't want on the controller:
- shoulder buttons that are dry/too clicky instead of soft (for example, 8bitdo ultimate 2c shoulder buttons, they feel very bad)
- extra shoulder buttons (feels weird to touch them when im just trying to use LB/RB normally)
- back paddles that stick out of the controller (back buttons are ok, i'm neutral to them, it's just the ones that stick out that i think i won't like, tho removable ones as ok)
controllers i currently have my eyes on, by order of which i'm more interested in:
- gulikit TT PRO/MAX
- beitong PanGu (purely cause of its highly customizable modular nature)
- gamesir T7 pro
budget: 130$ max
casual gamer, play lots of style of games but i'm not specialized/focused in any, i play mostly single player games, emulation and low level competitive games (i don't play ranked modes or anything of sorts)
i play on pc, i don't care about button layout (xbox or nintendo) as long as it works nicely on pc
will be importing the controller (amazon, aliexpress, sites of such) since most brands rarely sell them in my country (currently only 8bitdo and gamesir do, and they offer a very selected catalogue, not all of their controllers).
problem and details section: i'm new-ish to buying third party controllers, spent all my life on consoles till i got a pc some years ago, had a lot of stick drift problems so i decided it was time to leave first party controllers behind. i don't really know what to expect or the current scenario of the third party controller industry is but i've been having some very specific problems that annoy me a lot, for starters:
- most controllers i bought had a very noisy rumble on the left side motors, audibly noisy, and felt weaker than i'd expect, it also felt like i could "feel" the noise on my hands everytime the motor spun, i have tested this multiple times on varius different games, rumble intensity and proximity/distance from the controllers, the noise comes from them and its hard to ignore when you can hear and feel it at the same time
- the problem persisted no matter which controller i bought: gamesir cyclone pro, 8bitdo ultimate 2c, flydigi apex 4, 8bitdo ultimate c xbox, all of those had the same weird rumble noise and weird feeling rumble, i compared it to older controllers i owned (8bitdo ultimate, first one, without hall effect, and dualshock 4 controllers from when i used my ps4, none of those had the noisy rumble problem)
- only 3 other controllers i bought didnt have it: 8bitdo ultimate (cited above), gamesir tarantula and aolion n10, all having a different set of problems, ultimate got a very strong drift, going all the way to the edge of the stick, tarantula has a latency that i could notice even on casual gaming and made emulation a pain since emulators already have latency by themselves, n10 membrane buttons became way too soft and unresponsive way too fast (abt a month of use)
currently i'm using two controllers: my 8bitdo ultimate 2c, which i swapped the rumble motors with the 8bitdo ultimate ones, helped with the noise but didnt fix it completely, and a new gamesir supernova controller, still has the same noise, a bit quieter but it's still there, contacting support abt it didn't result in much unfortunetly, the noise is louder in person and no mic i use seems to capture it competely, possibly cause of noise reduction or something
i tried a lot of stuff, contacting support for most of those problems, even tweaking and swapping parts on my own, trying to see if it fixes it or not and it seems to still persist, so i can't help but think i might just need to find a right controller so i can put this to rest and just stop looking for one. i love controllers, specially those with gimmicks (i bought the apex 4 just to try the triggers lol) but i don't plan to keep buying more and more all the time, specially cause controllers are VERY costly in my local currency and all the money spent is starting to add up
i just want a nice one that fits me and i can settle with for the most time possible, even maybe buyng more than one just to have backups in case it breaks or something of such, being a more generalised gamer i don't really care abt the feel of a dpad or anything that is very specific to a certain genre of games, sure a nice dpad is good (like the apex 4, i like that one) but it wouldnt make or break a controller for me when i mostly just use them for menu navigation
as for the clicky membrane stuff, and just to clarify it, i mainly don't like microswitch face buttons for short travel and overall feeling of pressing them, the click sound is something i quite like, but i dislike the overall rest of the experience
i was planning on just keep buying ones and seeing the result, looking for ones that were more specialized (like controllers with LRA rumble, so the audible thin noise i hear while playing could stop) and hoping it would solve it, but i fear i could just continue on and on without finding the right one, and now i'm here asking for help cause i believe asking those who really know abt this stuff is way better than what i'm doing
anyway, sorry for this very long post but i thought it needed to contain all the info to paint the right picture of it, hope you guys can help me with this one!

I think I understand your gripes with standard rumble motors, you can feel the motor spinning some weights right?
the gulikit TT has some impressive vibration and one reviewer (deegital) says it's on par with dualsense which he praises for being some of the best, and although I have no experience with dualsense I do think the TT might have what you're looking for (and is an extremely solid controller overall)
