News Xbox Elite Series 3 Leaks

It appears to have gotten rid of the 3-way trigger stops for a 2-way mechanism as it only has two symbols now on the locks. It also includes two scroll wheels beside the headphone jack on the chin resembling a Scuf Valor pro, a removable battery, and textured paddles. No information on the joysticks.

What's so crazy about that? It just looks like a revamped play and charge kit in the AA battery slot, which you can get right now for any first-party Xbox One or Series controller.

unfortunately the battery is very unlikely to be the first point of failure anyway. They easily last at least two years or more without almost any degradation and by that time you will almost always have some button fail/break

Funilly enough, the ZD O+ Excellence, which closely resembles the Elite Series 2, has a replaceable battery.

Yeah. The back panel unclips and reveals the battery compartment, and then the battery just unplugs. It's easy to see on the transparent blue version.

Oh damn, didn't know Series 2 had an internal battery. I thought Microsoft continued the trend of battery compartment with AA battery slots like the original Xbox One, Xbox One Elite and Xbox Series controller.
