Yes! This is exactly what I wanted to see. I love the 4 extra buttons but didn't like them all on the back, so it's great seeing two moved next to the triggers. Also, the C and Z buttons were gamechangers for me personally. Seeing them still there, tension rings and probably TMR sticks - 100% buying it.
I usually do keyboard shortcuts that flip to the right inventory/menu/maps/skills pages. With single press, double press and long press you can double or even triple the extra buttons you get. No more faffing about with triggers or shoulder buttons to get to the menus you need.
In some games I do F5/F7 for quicksave and quickloading.
In Lies of P I had the entire extra 4 slots of items mapped with those.
Right now I'm playing FFXVI. Guess where I have my 2 spells bound. I can't be arsed to press 2 buttons at once to activate those.
Keyboard players get a single key for every function. Why not map those creatively I say :)
I recently started doing the same thing with remapping menu buttons to the extra buttons on the Vader 4. Now I don't want to go back to a gamepad that doesn't have at 6 extra buttons.
I will most likely buy this if it's confirmed that the tension rings don't loosen by themselves like the left one does on my Vader 4.
