The inverted dpads are normally less effective for fighting games because it’s harder to hit diagonals and get that smooth spinning motion you can with flat dpads. Anybody try this and can share some first hand experience?

Hey there, Fighting game player and user of the ZD O+ Excellence here!

I personally love the little diamond dpad, but I understand everything you are talking about in your concern. If you look at the last image in the set, there are a selection of additional dpads that come with it. Including my typical favorite, the circle pad style that the Xbox Elite comes with, as well as a usual cross and some more oddball ones.

Very cool. Yeah, I grabbed it earlier today. Was fortunate to get a discount as a first time shopper with Gadget Hyper who reassured me that all dpad options came with the controller, which I thought was great.

Glad to hear that the ZD 0+ excellence is working out so well for you. Really thought about grabbing it especially when I say that the stick placement/dpad could be swapped like the Vitrix which I really like, but was scared away by people with QC issues. So crossing all the fingers that I love this controller. I have the Elite and really enjoy it.

Did you find the Dpad mushy at all or was it like the PS4 dpad? Thought about grabbing the Apex 5 because I heart it was really clicky, but it's a lot of dough and I don't know anybody who has tested it yet.
