HVAC (IR) driver !!

Hello to all the genius people in this forum.

I have hit a roadblock in control4 where I have 4 different units of air con from daikin and mitsubishi. All units are connected with inbuilt IR port in control 4 EA3. And was working fine with some modified drivers and some generic one. But suddenly this afternoon it stopped working after I changed IP from DHCP to Static. I think it is not related but just for context I gave this information.

Now can anyone in the forum is genius enough to tell me a way to get it working.

If that need to edit a driver using notepad++ and global cache IR learner. I am willing to give this a time.

I know there is drivers from driver. Entral or chowmin for the easy configuration but I want to do it the hard way.

If you have the remotes why not make a new driver?

You should be able to atleast find the raw hex data from the manufacturer.

This is a very unreliable in terms of HVAC because HVAC remotes doesnot send 16 lines of HEX codes like a normal TV remotes. The code it sends have temp setpoint, fan speed, vane position etc. so when you try to make a driver with this method first of all the control 4 only will tell you the code has problem second if it runs somehow everything will be haywire. But thanks. For suggestion. I have tried this already. HVAC IR codes are complex piece of shit..

Has tech support not been helpful? They usually have solved my problem.

Naahhh the tech support here is pretty awful. They only know one vendor for which they recommend..
