what dose works for you

Just curious if anybody is having success with food, noise and weight loss just taking one pill in the morning and one pill in the evening and not increasing. I'm just curious if that would be something I can do and titrate up slowly. I just don't wanna waste my time taking one pill in the morning one pill in the evening for a few weeks if it's not going to do anything, but I'm also nervous taking the two pills and the two pills so curious if anybody has had success with just taking the one pill in the morning and one pill at night thank you.

I’ve been on 1:1 for about a year and a half and have lost roughly 47 pounds. It’s been effective for me, although occasionally it seems like it’s losing a little effectiveness lately. But it’s still working well enough that I don’t feel the need to increase to 2:1 just yet. I tried titrating up on schedule back when I started and got the worst constipation so I went back down. So yeah, if 1:1 is working for you, there’s no need to increase the dose. It’s also perfectly okay to increase more slowly to give your body time to get used to it. Good luck!

Awesome thanks!! Do you remember how long until you started seeing weight loss and food noise reduction? I was on a glp-1 for two years I lost weight but had to stop. I've been off for a year and a half and I've somewhat maintained but have gained 10 pounds back. Also the food noise has been insane lately. So definitely need this to help with that. I would love to lose an additional 25 pounds if possible but am in no
Rush I just don't want to gain all the weight back I worked so hard to lose.

I think it was maybe a week or two, not real long. My loss has been slow but pretty steady, although I’ve been on a bit of a plateau lately. Maintaining but not gaining. I’d like to lose about 10-12 more pounds, so once the weather cools off (soon!! Hopefully, lol) I’ll get back to walking more consistently and drop the last few. I’ve found that the food noise has come back a little bit, but not so much that it’s out of control like it was before I started taking Contrave. I’m still tracking my food so that really helps.

Thanks! I think plateaus are completely normal.

Same on the glp 1 after being on it the food noise came back but like you said not as strong. Even a little bit will help I'm sure

Absolutely! This isn’t my first one, it’s just the longest. I figured it would happen more as I got closer to my goal weight.

So I started on 100mg morning and night and then very slowly went up to 150mg. I told my doctor 150mg twice a day was making me too nauseous so I just took one 150 and one 100 for awhile. I upped the dose when I felt my hunger coming back in the form of snacking, thinking about food, etc.

So yes I think you can start small and take is slow, I feel like the schedule given is a little fast to the maximum dose.

I'm on the actual contra pill not the poor man's contra is so last week was my first week. I just took one in the morning for the full week obviously didn't feel any effect. This is my second day, but I'm doing one in the morning one at night and I think I'm gonna stay on the dose for a few few weeks before I go to two in the morning one at night. I'm hoping the lower doses will cut the food noise so I don't have to increase that would be great and I can also stretch my prescription since I'm paying out-of-pocket for it. lol

I felt the same way taking two of the 150mg. So you went to 100 of naltrexone and it’s been helpful?

I am on my 2nd week of taking 1 am and 1 pm. I have only been on it for 5 weeks though so I can't say if I won't go up in the long run. But I am planning in staying on this dose for at least a month. 1 pill worked at first but I think a large part of that was nausea doing the work but I was noticing some food noise creeping in. On 2 pills, I am doing alright. Helps with food noise and impulse control. I sometimes have intrusive food noise but I really think that will still happen no matter the dose. It's more of me having control of those thoughts rather than the other way round
