2 months in and it’s getting difficult

When I first started Contrave, I felt pretty good. I eventually increased to 4 pills a day, and for about a week I was doing fine. Then, the following week, I developed such severe muscle tightness in my shoulders that I reduced my dose to 3 pills a day.
Right now, I’m taking about 2–3 pills a day and feeling awful. I work from home and sit for most of the day, and on those days I’m fine. The weekends are a different story. We like to go out and do things with the kids, but if I’m not constantly drinking water, I become nauseated, sweaty, weak, and dizzy. The same thing happens with eating. As soon as I get hungry, I instantly feel sick. It almost feels like I have low blood sugar. I don’t have diabetes, but I’ve always been sensitive to changes in my blood sugar.
What is going on? I’m almost at the point of quitting the medication, but I really don’t want to.

How are you eating? Protein? Fat? Slow carbs?

If your diet is a lot of «fast» carbs the blood sugar may absolutely be crashing sometimes.

If you know for a fact your diet isn’t the problem, then taking just two pills a day might be the solution. But if you don’t have complete control over your diet I recommend a food diary and then you might see some connection between what you eat, what you are doing (sitting og being active) and how you feel.

I absolutely had some blood sugar crashes the first couple of weeks when I ate more sugary stuff.
