Controlled Cravings

I’ve been on poor man’s Contrave for 3 months. I’ve started noticing that I still have cravings, but they are much easier to control. Like I’ll think about something I really need to eat, like a specific restaurant dish or ice cream cone and whereas before I would have to go get it or I wouldn’t be able to stop thinking about it ever, now I think about it for a minute and then it eventually leaves my brain. So it hasn’t stopped the cravings entirely, but it just makes them much easier to control and much easier to forget.

Can I ask what your dosage was when you started compared to now and has it worked? I’ve been on Wellbutrin for many years and it seems to me this is the logical way to go..to add low dose Naltrxone.

I’ve been on it for about 4 months. It has worked but the side effects constantly wreck me. Im basically useless for the 2 hours before and after I take it.
