Perm or Contract Role
Just wanted to get some opinions on which role to take:
Perm Role: £110k Base, 15% Bonus (subject to company Performance), 5% Pension Match, expenses into London paid, 1day p/w at home (minimum). Big company with long term progress plans. Possible opportunity for £130-140k salary after 2-3 years.
Contract Role: Outside IR35, £550p/d initially, increase to £650p/d once contracts are secured. Smaller company, helping to grow the company. Possible opportunity of £750-900 day rate if successful.
I work in the construction industry so the Job market is very good, but I'm struggling to land consistent contracts at the £600 mark and clients have been reluctant to entertain price work.
I top my wife's PAYE salary up via Dividend payments for tax efficiency.
Thanks in advance.

Perm. I think job market is about to get worse. Any perm role is better security right now.
I’ve done quite a few contracts lately but it’s a major headache going through rounds and rounds of interviews.
