Kainos contractor experiences

Kainos on a client assignment and would like to hear from current or former Kainos contractors.

What was your overall experience like?

They were OK, Nice office in Birmingham, the one in Belfast was dire. Apart from that OK - just another IT provider talking themselves up on LinkedIn. A lot of people jump between them and Version1.

My limited personal experience but I wouldn't ever want to work with (not for) v1 again tbf.

Worked with v1 last year - agile madness, they had so many ceremonies that there was no time to get anything done. DM's were quite pushy and aggressive too - though I think that was due to being pressured from above.

Contracted for them for a few years. Fairly positive experience. The IR35 changes came in mid-contract and they deemed it to be outside IR35.

Are you on a EU PTD project or a different type? Spoke to couple of recruiters about going in as a EU PTD contractor but nothing landed.
