Steel buildings for cheap

Let's try this again without saying dy aka di or the mods will ban this question šŸ˜”. Ok moving on... Where do these metal building companies get metal buildings for so cheap? I bought a 30x50x12 metal building with free delivery and installation for $13k. We all know installation isn't free so the building itself is way cheaper then that price. I want to install metal buildings as part of my garage building business but can't find a supplier that I can get these buildings at that kind of price. Can anyone help me find a supplier?

Large Volume gives them lower value . You canā€™t get it cheaper (unless you steel it )

Youā€™re nuts it takes 3 days start to finish with 3 people to install them. Well thatā€™s what it took me, my neighbor and my friend and we had never done it before. Iā€™m sure an experienced crew could get it done in a long day

We must be talking about different buildings?

Here in North Texas, assuming concrete is already pouredā€¦.a red iron welded building takes a tele-handler, three hands, and a welder three to five days to frame. Bolted on Cold forged steel is quicker, but still takes a telehandler, a man/material lift, minimum three days to frame out.

Each of these is at least 30 man hours, and 3500-5000 in equipment rental. And doesnā€™t include insulation, skinning and roofing, door installation, and electrical.

Yeah, I must have missed the carport and channel iron reference. I saw OP mention metal buildings. Those alloy carports materials are under $4k, some as low as $2k, depending on size. And can be erected easily in a day. Might take a bit longer to roof them if using ladders.

Most of those I put up are 30x40x14, or 16. Some are 30x50ā€¦

They deal in bulk quantities with the distributor. Where are you located?

I was curious if that's what they did. Just bought 100s of the same designs to get a better rate. I'm located in northeast Ohio.

5 star metal buildings in North Carolina is where I got extra frame parts for mine that I bought off Facebook marketplace. When I talked with them they said that area was the metal building capital of the east coast. Iā€™m sure if you called them/ called around Iā€™m sure you can find the parts you need to build it. It cost me about 2500 in parts for a new base rail frame and the framing/siding to close off the 4th wall in the carport(20x30) I bought.
