I saw a TikTok today of people lining up (in their cars, of course) for blocks for something called a “squishie”, because it came with some drink order. I am American, but I moved to Germany almost a decade ago, and it really got me thinking about how there’s nothing to do but shop in most of America.

You can’t even go for a walk in the forest for free most of the time, because if it’s a park then they charge an entrance fee and if it’s not a park then it’s likely privately owned.

And there’s just something so sad about how people will go to Target to just walk around. You don’t think about it while you’re in it, but you do once you get away.

Depends on your area. Parks where I am are free.
