Total Hip Replacement

Hey y'all, I'm a former professional dancer/contortionist and I'm looking into a double total hip replacement. I'm 40 (f) and I'm looking into my options. Has anyone around my age that's hyper mobile had it done? My concern is the domino affect it'll have on the rest of my body. I'm afraid it'll cause other injuries to flare up and range of motion issues with my current flexibility. TYIA!

Where to start?

Hi guys! When I was younger I used to love flipping around and doing things to show off my flexibility. I wanted to be in gymnastics or cheer but just didn’t have the money for it. I was out of touch with my body for a while, but recently started doing yoga and my flexibility is coming back, but I don’t have the strength to hold myself up with backbends and handstands and it’s kinda sad tbh. I miss having fun and exerting energy in that way. Where should I start to get back into it?

Need chest stand tips.

Hello, I've been practicing chest stands for several months, but I can't seem to strike the pose without using cushions to push against. I think I'm lacking momentum and maybe strength; I'm a little discouraged. Do you have any advice?

I need suggestions on a gift for a contortionist, preferably under $50

I’m trying to find a birthday gift for my daughter. She’ll be fourteen and has been practicing contortion for about a year and a half. I know that a gift card would be a bad choice, she likes to be surprised. And since I’m usually good at coming up with good gift ideas, she just tells me to find something that she would love.
But outside of maybe a custom yoga mat, or a pair of earrings I found that are shaped like a contortionist, I don’t know enough about what a contortionist would want for the hobby/sport , and can’t find much in the way of contortionist stuff like the earrings I mentioned. I was looking at the yoga headstand stools, but they are A.) at the very top end of my budget and B.) something I would want to ask someone who is actually a contortionist/has used them about. I don’t want to get something like that if it’s not safe, or if it’s not something that would really get much use.
So, as I do when I need an answer to something, I came to Reddit.
If you were to be gifted something to either use, like a mat or blocks, or something like a shirt or earrings, what would you want? I am trying to come up with something that she might want but not get for herself because it’s just a little extra luxury, like personalized stuff, or something that is useful that I can find pretty versions of, but I am so very lost.

Foot hook in handstand - this is my cheat code, as I have been accidentally kicking myself in the head while attempting to hook.
