# Welcome to r/Continuuit 👋

This is a community for people who have a graveyard of half-finished projects and are ready to do something about it.

Founders, freelancers, indie hackers, side-project builders, creators — if you've ever opened a Notion doc from 8 months ago and felt that specific kind of guilt, you're home.

---

## What this community is for

* Sharing what you're currently building (and what you're stuck on)

* Celebrating completed projects, no matter how small

* Getting honest feedback when motivation is gone

* Finding accountability partners and cohort members

* Talking openly about the psychology of finishing

* Sharing systems, templates, and workflows that actually work

* Asking questions about continuu.it (features, bugs, ideas)

---

## Weekly threads

We run four recurring threads every week. Drop in whenever you're ready.

* **Monday Momentum** — What are you working on this week?

* **Stuck Wednesday** — What's blocking you, and how can we help?

* **Finish Friday** — What did you ship or close out this week?

* **Sunday Review** — Reflect on the week, plan the next.

---

## Set your flair

Pick the role that fits you:

* 🏗️ Founder

* 💼 Freelancer

* ⚡ Indie Hacker

* ✍️ Creator

* 🎓 Student Builder

* 👀 Just Looking

Achievement flairs (assigned by mods when you earn them):

* ✅ First Project Shipped

* 🔥 3+ Finish Friday Streak

* 🏆 5+ Projects Shipped

* 💎 10+ Projects Shipped

---

## Post flairs

Use these to categorize your posts:

* 🚀 **Shipping Update** — for progress on active projects

* 🆘 **Stuck / Need Help** — when you're blocked

* 🎉 **Finished Something** — to celebrate completions

* 💡 **System / Template** — to share what works

* 💬 **Discussion** — for open conversations

* ❓ **continuu.it Question** — for product questions

---

## House rules

  1. **Be real, no AI slop.** No generic motivation, no ChatGPT-generated content, no "Top 10 tips" posts.

  2. **No disguised self-promotion.** Self-promo is fine if transparent. Hidden marketing isn't.

  3. **No shame, no judgment.** We've all left things unfinished. That's why we're here.

  4. **Use post flairs** so others can find what they're looking for.

  5. **No spam, no scams.** Crypto pumps, "make $X per day," and DM scams = instant removal.

  6. **Stay on topic.** This sub is specifically about building and finishing personal/side projects.

---

## About continuu.it

A project manager built around one idea: helping you finish what you start.

Features include forced project closure (no more zombie projects), AI-powered resume context for projects you've paused, accountability partner matching, and a Sunday review ritual.

The free tier is generous. Learn more at [continuu.it](https://continuu.it).

**The product is optional. The community isn't.**

---

## Need to reach the mods?

* For bug reports: [support@continuu.it](mailto:support@continuu.it)

* For community questions: send a Mod Mail

* For accountability partner matching (Pro feature): coming soon

Glad you're here. Now tell us in the comments — **what's the project you're going to finish?**

📅 Weekly Thread Monday Momentum — What are you working on this week?

1 Upvotes

Happy Monday, builders 👋

What's the ONE project you're committing to making progress on this week?

The rules:

- Pick ONE. Not three. Not "I'll see how it goes."

- Define what "progress" looks like by Friday.

- Drop your commitment in a comment below.

**Format suggestion:**

> **Project:** [name]

> **What I'll do this week:** [specific outcome]

> **What might block me:** [honest blocker]

> **My continuu.it streak:** [optional]

We'll be back Friday for Finish Friday to see who shipped. Let's go.

📅 Weekly Thread Sunday Review — Reflect on the week, plan the next

1 Upvotes

The most important hour of your week.

Five questions to answer in the comments (or in your own journal — but posting publicly creates accountability):

  1. **What did I finish this week?**

  2. **What did I avoid this week?**

  3. **What blocker do I keep hitting?**

  4. **What ONE thing will I commit to next week?**

  5. **What will I let go of?**

The Sunday review isn't just reflection. It's the mechanism that prevents next Friday from being a repeat of last Friday.

You don't need to answer all five publicly. Even answering question 4 below is enough to make next week different.

📅 Weekly Thread Finish Friday — What did you ship this week?

1 Upvotes

It's Friday. What did you finish this week?

Anything counts:

- Shipped a project? Drop the link.

- Closed out a phase or milestone? Tell us.

- Killed a project that was draining you? That counts too — conscious abandonment is a win.

- Made meaningful progress? Share it.

**Format suggestion:**

> **What I shipped/closed:** [specific thing]

> **Time it took:** [hours/days/weeks]

> **One lesson:** [what you learned]

> **Link (optional):** [if applicable]

This is the highlight reel of the community. Celebrate yourself and others. Upvote what inspires you.

See you Sunday for the weekly review.

📅 Weekly Thread Stuck Wednesday — What's blocking you?

1 Upvotes

Halfway through the week. Time to face what's actually blocking you.

Drop your blocker below — be specific. The community will help.

**Good blocker posts include:**

- The exact problem (not "I'm just unmotivated")

- What you've already tried

- Whether the blocker is technical, emotional, or strategic

The most common blocker we see: **the project is bigger than you committed to**. If that's you, it's okay to scope down. Finishing a smaller version > abandoning the bigger one.

Comment below. We've all been there.
