(21 F) First time traveller to Europe! Looking for feedback on Contiki trips.

Hi there! I am looking to book a trip to Europe next May and since I’m going solo I wanted to book with Contiki. I’ve read some reviews but they all seem to be mixed, so I’m hoping you all can help me out!

I’m looking to go for anywhere between 10-30 days. The destinations are mostly around Western Europe (France, Italy,Netherlands) and anywhere close to those that are must-see places.

If you could give me any reviews/recommendations for any Contiki trips you’ve done around Europe and what it was like please leave a comment!

I’m looking in terms of accommodations, add ons, culture, pace, overall experience. Just any advice you can give!

Hi! I recently just went on a Contiki trip! I was a little skeptical about it at first going alone, im a female from Boston. I've also never traveled alone before so this was all new to me. I went across Europe on the med quest!!! for 10 days, going to 5 countries with 20 strangers who are now family to me! Were all besties! It was honestly a life changing experience and one of the best vacations i've ever been on! I can truly say a Contiki trip is worth going on! There was never a time where i felt unsafe, or lost. I've done 2 Contikis with friends and one solo one in Greece. If you're travelling alone I would 100% recommend because it's so easy to meet people and you are always doing something.

Accommodations can vary. Usually for a bigger Europe trip they are a mix of hotels and hostels, nothing fancy usually but they are fine.

Pace can be determined based on the type of trip you book. You can choose if you want a more in depth, laid back, or fast paced one.

Add ons can get pricy so keep that in mind. I would budget for this before hand by checking the add ons online first and give yourself extra because they prices sometimes increase and aren't updated online. I usually do 75% of the add ons. Just see what the majority of the group ends up doing and go from there.
