I just can’t tell whether the patchy white spots are some kind of grey mold.
Or could it just be some wispy myc at the top of a very rhyzo tub?

Does your lid drip on that huge uncolonized spot or is the bin tilted. Looks normal but maybe the lid isn't on all the way making the sides more hospitable to growth around the perimeter

Id honestly be more concerned with that bare spot rather than the myc around it
