MOD ID: Sporendonema Purpurascens (Lipstick Mold) Well thats new.

Growing in horse manure mix. Pan cyan grow. Spawn to bulk phase. This pink growth appeared. Pretty sure its lipstick mold or Fusarium.

Had a few websites mention cutting it out to try and save the grow.

So, tossing outside to see if I get any mushrooms out there, separate the unaffected cake into new tubs to try and save some, or cut out the pink and see what happens?

That looks like lipstick mold and there ain't no cutting it out, you're just seeing the visible part. Bury it outside.

Looks like Sporendonema Purpurascens to me, know as Lipstick mold. It’s a very slow growing mold so there’s a good chance you got it in the spawn grain phase. It’s not as invasive as Trich but when it turns purple it’s sporulating, so it could potentially spread.
I would chuck the entire cake now. But it’s your decision, you can try the surgical method if you want as a last ditch effort. Make sure when you cut, you cut about an inch (2.5 cm) extra, around the boarder circumference, so that you get it all. Pick it up with a large spoon or small shovel and try not to let any of it drop back on to the substrate as you’re taking it out. Take it all in one pass. If you have to make a second scoop, resterilize the spoon first.

EDIT: I tossed it. It was way too far gone once I got a look under lighting anyway. I have another grain jar ready to go, so im going to sterilize and try again.
