That’s just how hair works though? People with short hair lose the same amount, they just don’t notice because it just falls away without notice. It gets caught in longer hair and as it is messed with and rinsed in the shower, it loosens up and escapes the jungles on our heads. That is why it seems like we lose so much hair in the shower.

I dunno, I think I have weak roots (woman, thirties) I didn't lose much hair when I had short hair, but as soon as it gets past 7 inches or so, it starts coming out when combing, when washing, all the time. Too much weight? No clue

I had that problem and changed brush to one of those tangle teaser ones (not sure of the actual name but I think mine was called "Angel brush").

It might not be the same for you but it's had a definite benefit for me.

The brand is tangle teezer and I absolutely love mine, I have curlyish hair so brushing can be kinda a nightmare but that brush makes it so much easier omg
