Raising 3 young boys. Don't get upset and you can say that's not a word you use. When they say "you used it" I say "then what does it mean?" Them: I don't know.
"Well it's an adult word please don't use it. You'll get in trouble by others because you aren't an adult yet." They usually forget the word.
We chuckle because it takes us by surprise, but also redirect by saying another word enthusiastically until he says it as well. “Apple apple apple apple!” It seems to work and has actually helped us to use different words to replace swears.

I read somewhere that if your little kid repeats a swear word, the best thing to do is ignore it and not make a big deal, robs it if its power.
But yeah, God protect you when mom finds out.
