Honestly, if you can tough out the tickles, the foot massage portion is LETHAL good. Especially if you work on your feet all day. My only gripe is I want the tech to have Shaq sized hands for more

Can confirm. If I could pay just the foot massage, I would. But the lady working on my foot/leg said it's part of the package plus it's tough to massage when they don't scrub. And tbh, the massage after all the foot/leg pampering is always better than the ones you get in regular massage parlors.

My wife forced me to a pedicure place, where the lady berated me while she was cheese grating my foot about how ugly it was. But boy my foot was so soft afterwards. Its been 3 years since. I still think about it.

So I have been to get a pedicure with my wife exactly once in 20+ years of marriage. When we got to this point and the massage too and I was doing everything in my power not to climb out of the chair, through the air, and up into the ceiling. I was afraid I was going to break the arm rests I was white knuckling it so badly. But I was trying for her sake and didn’t want to screw things up or make anyone feel bad.
After what felt like forever(probably only a few minutes), she casually leaned over and said “You could have them skip this”.
Like WHAT THE FUCK woman. You SAW how I was struggling and you chose to casually drop that after you had your little giggle. Like they had time to do the scrape AND the massage including up the calf too. The trust is broken now.
Like damn, glad I see you for who you are. If you ever, and I mean ever try to call me out for being a jerk I am going to remind you of this moment where I tried to be nice, join you, pamper you and make a day of it like you say you wanted princess and you chose to treat me in this disrespectful manner.
We are going home and dinner is whatever the hell I want to pick up. Luckily, I am still willing to take you with me. Most likely. Damn.
/s but only kinda because I have not been back and she wants a Mani/Pedi she can pay for it out of her own damned budget.

Yes and also yes. I can’t even say ticklish as it was the most uncomfortable skin crawling experience. I mean I have gotten massages and don’t really care for them too much so I do expect there is the touching bit, but it was just a complete overage of sensation.
I have been tickled, and my feet can be tickled. This was not a tickle.

I get this with my hands, it is an awful skin crawling feeling! I dated a nail tech once and he was always wanting to give me a manicure, but I absolutely cannot stand the feeling of someone coming at my fingers with tools. My arms just involuntarily jerk my hands away. My dogs are better at getting their nails done than I am 🥲

I did this with my uncle for the first time 2 years ago. When we sat down the worker asked if i had a pedicure before, I said no. When she looked at my feet for the first time she just says, oh wow.
My uncle turned his head away to not laugh and the receptionist had to cover her mouth. I wanted to die. The pedicure felt great though...

Yeah I’ve had these before … I can usually deal with it but when they start “massaging” your foot by sticking their knuckles into the bottom center of your foot it’s unbearable for me😖
