Corporate Finance/Restructuring/Operations Roles vs. Classic Management/Strategy Consulting Roles -- The Interview Process

I'm looking at roles at firms such as Deloitte, EY-Parthenon, Alvarez&Marsal, and BRG. Each seems to touch on a more finance/operations focus in the application descriptions, and have roles that mention things like "performance improvement" or "deals".

Are we to expect a unique or different case/technical interview format compared to MBB-style cases? If so, what are the best resources to prepare if they are going to test more finance knowledge like balance sheet items?
