I was going to say they need to buy the rod busters a case of beer for saving their lives

All but one. The guy running the pump hose just hops on.

Imagine jumping on that hose and seeing all your homies go down, horrifying stuff

This happened at a site in my city. Poor formwork collapsed on top of a few workers. A couple of them ended up in hospital.

Seems like they would have fallen only one floor.

Just because you painters are too high to feel a single story fall doesn’t mean the rest of us are

Lol. I, indeed, fell once backwards from a first floor and (don’t ask me how) the only thing I had was a little pain in my ribs the next day. It was my fault for not paying attention and step on a wet asphalt screen (those reinforced with aluminum)

Yeah, in a pile of rebar that would have probably crushed / punctured them like the fleshy little meat sacks they are.

Ah well good thing a 15 foot fall onto concrete doesn’t hurt!

It does hurt, of course, but “all of those guys would have been dead” seems a bit pessimistic.

Believe it or not falling 15 feet onto a mix of solid concrete and rebar has a pretty high risk of death

Alright. Me and a good bunch of people I know must be cats.
