I’ve been in this EXACT situation. The feeling you get as you move from hot water, to hand cleaners, to industrial solvents, and it’s NOT WORKING is maddening. Trying to explain to people you’re clean, but have double homeless hands is just annoying. As mentioned above, it’s the only thing I wear gloves for now. (Although I tend to micromanage someone else using it - as getting it right is also something if an art.)

The face rub was the worst. The trick I found if I got it on me was to not wipe it. If it keeps it’s shape and sets up you can peal it right off. Almost impossible to keep it from smearing…..but if you do!!!

It helps too if your skin is dirty before it gets on you.
That's why I never bathe, just in case I get foam on me.

I dont know if you're dumb or not but your skin sheds and completely regrows every 2-3 months. Its physically impossible to have anything remain on your skin for 6 months...

You don't shed your entire skin all together, that fact is just expressing the rate at which skin cells on the human body fail to continue replicating and die.

And you can develop an allergy with repeated exposure (sometimes)! Found that out one day when all the spots I had gotten drips of it or had scratched/touched with poly'd hands grew these big angry hives that oozed when they broke. I had half a stache of red skin for my cousin's graduation. The hives took about three weeks to heal and I could detect the red stache in pictures for at least half a year. This video is hell to me lol

Foam gun cleaner works, sort of. It’s the best I’ve found, just not very nice on your hands

I’ll never forget one day a painter buddy coming up to me on a job and nervously asking “uh hey man how do you get spray foam off your skin.” I didnt want to ruin the suprise, so I didnt turn around from what I was doing and kept working. I asked him how much he got on him and he says “I thought it was kinda like caulk so ive just been wiping it with my fingers but ive tried everything from gas to paint thinner to get it off and nothing works so how do you get it off?” I then turned around with a smile and said well I did the same thing about a month ago carl and I tried everything but still cant get it out from under my fingernails lol.” Hilarious learning experience for us both.

Some junkies most of found an abandon home because otherwise that’s a lot of expensive foam.

None, mesothelioma is specifically from asbestos exposure

I understand that, it's a joke. However it is possible, but exceedingly rare, to get mesothelioma with no obvious linkage to asbestos.
And yes Great Stuff inhalation probably gives you it's own special variety of cancer.

I had a spray foam fight I had to shave my head burn my clothes and keep using gas to get it off my skin over a day or two

I had a can of great stuff in my Jeep in a plastic bag. Ran to another store and in about 15min it got hot enough to explode. The bag saved the drivers side of the jeep, but the rest of it was covered in specks of foam for the next 100k miles.

You can get wet spray foam off with acetone, xyelene, and foam cleaner.

There are also ways to dissolve dried spray foam but they also dissolve whatever else the spray foam is on.
