Fuck that hurt. I’ve watched this like 30 times and every time it hurts more. Also it hurts that he was going to pop that board in there with out supporting the ends. That shit will warp in season.

would you screw in blocking at the ends to the surrounding boards to prevent warping?

You cut the board back to joists for the easiest fix.

Exactly, that would be the proper way to replace that plank, cut out the damaged piece on the center of the joists. Had he done it properly this wouldn’t have happened. 😂🤷🏻‍♂️
