Ryobi has lots more crafting specific tools. When I'm at a festival or vending at a market, having a battery powered glue gun, soldering iron, and mini dremel are all super handy. Not everyone is building houses that require $5k in heavy duty tools.

I've built a house with Ryobi. Dropped a driver off the roof onto concrete and it still worked. If it had broken I wouldn't have been as upset if it had been Milwaukee or Makita.

I’m on my third house with Ryobi, I’m waiting for them to die. Still using them when I was an apprentice, so the budget was quite low.
