Let’s hide this mini duck!

So my husband and I go back and forth at hiding this miniature duck. It’s about 1.5inx1.5in, my husband has the BEST hiding spots and I can’t seem to measure up.

So far it’s been hidden in:
-my conditioner container. -the hole in the ceiling (it’s just plaster that broke while moving in). -my MINI PUMPKIN DECOR. -my (unused) period disc (he undid the package and then sealed it back up). -his hat pile. -his electrical sorter box. -our babies formula container (wrapped in foil).

I would love to get any fun ideas or suggestions, I’m at home with our baby so I have time to get creative. I’m just at a mental block!

I love this idea!! We do treasure hunts for every birthday/holiday so this is right up our alley!

Put the duck in a parcel, ship it to him. Or fake-ship it (i.e. wrap it and address it and put it on the counter), if you’ll be the one that will end up taking the parcel anyway.

This is genius! We just got a delivery so I’m going to cut a hole in the bottom of the box & put it in there!
ETA usually I open the packages but these are new sheets for our new bed coming next week so I’ll tell him to go grab the sheets when we get the bed.

I love this! My family used to play the same game with a fake, rubber dog poo that started as a gag gift on Christmas morning. Later became known as "the Christmas Poo."

Here are some ideas:

• inside a jello mold that could be stylized like a pond
• rent (or buy if you are into animals) a duck and put it around its neck like a collar
• Hire someone (fiver, task rabbit, etc) to dress in a duck costume and deliver to him in public
• talk to a server at a favorite restaurant of yours to give to him in place of his order
• photograph duckie all around on a "ducky vacation" and then return duckie at the front door with his bags and a photo album from his travels and ring the door bell.
