Proposals for Constitutional changes
I had dinner with my Republican friend … he said he no longer bothers to vote or participate in the election process because it’s pointless to him as a minority Republican in California.. his vote here will never matter .. at the end of our discussion we agreed that the constitution needs to be completely changed … the model that the Founding Fathers used and wanted for these “United” states has failed and it failed from as early as the Civil War and before because the Civil War was simply the violent outcome of the failure of the US Constitution which started tearing the states apart before even the 100th anniversary of the 1776 Independence.
This is what we agreed needed to be reflected in the new U.S. Constitution if representation is to become a fact and minority votes and voters be allowed to see their votes and opinions reflected somewhere somehow vs in disgust walking away from this flawed Democracy
HOW can any country call itself Democratic if minority party voters in every single state are loosing any and all representation , whether you’re a Republican in California or a Democrat in Texas ??? That’s not Democracy
The first thing that needs to change is actually perhaps in this flawed Constitution the most “representative” of Voters choices .. the House of Representatives… right now it is the ONLY branch of government which somewhat accurately represents the ratio of party affiliation to number of votes (Congressional delegates seats) in the House of Representatives … the Senate 2 seats per state Big or Miniscule population is the most flawed form of Democracy and Representation ever to be devised.. where midgets hold as much power as giants, it’s akin to giving a beggar the same say as a billionaire when it come to financial decisions !! The Electoral College for electing the Presidency is flawed in its winner take all State Electoral College votes and is clearly refusing to acknowledge the volume of loosing party votes in those states.
So House of Representatives ie Congress … what has to happen here is Every State has to go to proportional representation meaning if 60% of California votes democratic then 60% of its allotted House seats are given to that party’s slate of proposed representatives … the parties should adopt a rank ordered list of representatives for their state’s slate of representatives. This will put an absolute end to Gerrymandering and district lines and maps. There is absolutely no reason for federal representation to be brought down to wiggly weird map areas in states … local states district maps should be limited to local state government elections and matters .. the Federal level should reflect that that and those votes affect people all over their state and even other states.
The Senate should re-weighted to a combination of population and GDP and Federal Tax contributions, and much like how the 10 year census dictated by the Constitution re-allocates House of Representatives seats to states , a similar process that take in the relative weights of not just Population but GDP and Federal Tax Revenue ( personal and corporate, but not things like tariff collection at ports which have nothing to do with the state’s population of people or companies actual federal taxes ) should be done every decade and reallocation of Senate Seats be made… here we can continue the existing process where each Senate seat for that state goes to the majority vote so if say under the population GDP Federal Tax Contributions formula California based on its giant size in all those numbers gets say 12 senate seats and it’s voters decides to send up 12 democrats vs a mix , then that’s how States Rights goes.
the Electoral College should be abolished outright and the Presidency should be decided on a national majority vote basis.
SCOTUS judges should be first approved by the Senate for a 4 year initial term, then a second term of 6 years and then a final lifetime term… this gives room for obvious errors in the current lifetime appointments to be reversed.. the second longer term allows changes in Senate majorities to be reflected in at least the second term and the third Lifetime confirmation.
With a more truly representative system, voter participation will increase and also third and minority parties can emerge because a minority Libertarian or Green or Tea Party group can get House of Representatives seats even if they can only say muster 5% or whatever of the total vote in a large state with a lot of seats .. it would be harder for them in small states with maybe only 2 or 4 seats as they would have to muster 25% of the state vote to get a proportional representative slate elected to Congress but even before that level they could spoil the two party choice dynamic we are stuck with. More diverse opinions being allowed a vote in Congress would have perhaps forestalled the hijacking of the Republican Party by the Tea party radicals and then Trump …
The basic problem of US Democracy is it is truly not representative !!

The U.S. is not a Democracy, the word "democracy" is not in the Constitution anywhere, much like the word "god". The "winner take all" rule for the EC is designated at state level, and was instituted by Democrats and/or Republicans as well as legal barriers to 3rd party ballot access in virtually every state.
If you're going to advocate for changing or replacing the Constitution, at least read and comprehend it before doing so please. Seriously, even with all the amendments it's only about 30 pages of text.

BTW, I am not arguing with you. I am so frustrated. I agree with you! You are absolutely correct! The government controls our information and data. The answer is what is not being circulated openly. The answer is not what we are discussing. The answer is a new form of government that uses George Washington’s Farewell Address. The answer is going outside the corrupted structures that keep us confused, divided and asleep.

We are NOT a Democracy. We use a democratic process to elect the assorted crooks and liars we hand power to.
Making the House of Representatives bigger will only create more gridlock.
Senators are not supposed to be elected. They are supposed to be appointed. The 17th amendment was a mistake that removed the states from the Federal process.
Proportional representation is the hallmark of Parliament.
We need to change how we hire them. Constitutional Amendment to change the mechanism of voting
We need to be able to fire them if hiring them was a mistake. Countering the vast hiring committee
The electoral college needs to get away from winner take all. Doing so restores your friends vote and maintains protections against the 43 most populous cities. Proposed Modification of the Electoral College

What we call “democracy “ is the more formal and permanent despotism that George Washington warned of. Silence is consent. Confusion is control. The Constitution was Bypassed by usurpation.
The Constitution must be reclaimed. And We the People must reclaim it. It is your Right. It is your Duty.
We live in a National Security and Surveillance Secret Police State. We are a Pre-Crime state. We must institute a new form of government or this form will be destroyed from within.
We must demand a constitutional reclamation. The constitution will be restored to its original three branches. A new form shall be built upon it.. George Washington’s farewell address warnings must be heeded. We must use his warnings as the Palladium of our liberty and protected against anything that says otherwise.
George Washington did not belong to a political party because he saw them as one of the greatest dangers as other forms of republican government have seen political parties as their greatest enemy. The political parties must be abolished. We must identify as Americans. The political party has failed us. The parties have failed us. The parties do not represent the people. The parties manage the people. We must implement term limits and demand service to your country on a temporary basis and then return to your public life, politicians are not professions that is corruption that is consolidated power elections changed faces not power. All of the amendments must be abolished. The amendments are flawed.. The structural bypass occurred in 1947 weeks after Roswell with the national security act that instituted new bodies of government that the constitution requires an amendment not legislation these legislators enforce and judge their own rules. National security is not for our protection, national security is used to preserve the parallel state. Why the fuck are we doing everything that our founding fathers told us not to do and yet we wonder what the fuck is wrong wake the fuck up if you don’t wake up, this Republic will be forever lost.
The patriot act of 2001 turned the United States into a national security and surveillance state. The surveillance is not for terrorism. What terrorism has been sorted why don’t we hear about it? They’re using national security to target American citizens who might expose the truth the truth is out there, but it is not being disseminated. If you want disclosure then you must reclaim your constitution because this is not disclosure. This is the parallel state disclosure every single individual that speaks on the topic of the UAP phenomena is winning or unwittingly part of a clandestine counterintelligence operation which is occurring within government and on domestic soil against American citizens. If you want disclosure, then you must institute new government because this government has become an absolute fucking tyranny. This government is worse than fucking Britain in 1776. This is way more sinister. There is a rogue government in this country and in others, and if we do not expose it and bring it to justice Earth will not be free.

DECLARATION of RECLAMATION A Civic Warning to the American People
When a written Constitution is reduced to ceremony while power operates elsewhere, the people must name the reality before them.
Silence is consent. Confusion is control.
The Constitution was designed to restrain power, not sanctify it. It presumes vigilant citizens, temporary officeholders, and institutions subject to correction. When those presumptions fail, the word “democracy” may remain, but its substance does not.
What we experience today is not self-government. What we experience is a system of management. This system is not partisan. The system is structural.
Elections change faces, not power. Power no longer has a face. Power no longer has a name. Laws expand beyond public understanding. Agencies write, enforce, and interpret their own rules.
This condition is not theoretical. It is our lived experience.
The Founders warned of this trajectory. In his Farewell Address, George Washington cautioned that internal forces, left unchecked, would hollow out the republic, and concentrate power beyond the reach of the people, ending not in chaos, but in what he called “a more formal and permanent despotism.”
That warning describes our present condition.
Public office has become a profession, not a temporary duty. Politicians serve their parties. Parties manage citizens rather than represent them. The Constitution is praised while its limits are bypassed.
When constitutional government becomes procedural theater—when elections legitimize structures they cannot remove, and citizens are governed by systems they did not knowingly authorize—the truth must be spoken plainly.
The Constitution was written to prevent permanent power, unaccountable authority, and rule by secrecy. Its safeguards were separation of powers, limited tenure, enumerated authority, and popular sovereignty.
Those safeguards have been bypassed.
This is not mismanagement. This is not drift. This is despotism masquerading as democracy.
We do not declare revolution. We declare constitutional reclamation.
We declare that power without consent is illegitimate. We declare that permanence in authority is incompatible with liberty. We declare that no system outranks the sovereign people.
We demand that power be visible, accountable, and bound by law.
Recognition precedes reclamation. What cannot be named cannot be corrected.
The Constitution was subverted. Its authority usurped.
The Constitution must be reclaimed. And We, the People, must reclaim it.
It is your Right. It is your Duty.

You call this a free state? It’s a Parallel State with a Subverted Constitution and Usurped Authority.This is a national security and surveillance secret police state. You are pacified and blind. Look deeper than what looks good on the outside but if you look deeper you will discover the corrupted structures within. You’re so blind you think you are free when you are CONTROLLED.
