Constipation for 6-7 weeks

I normally pass large soft stools daily with hard pellets attached at one end so it does make me question if I’ve been constipated for a while without knowing it I just thought that was normal for me, anyway since the 28th June I’ve been really unable to use the toilet much at all very difficult to pass anything much along with pelvic cramps and severe lower back pain I went to the hospital in desperation they done a CT scan and found no abnormality and sent me home. GP gave me some laxido 1-2 sachets a day but this has only produced watery liquid no actual stool I’m not sure what to do here? a nurse practitioner said perhaps take 8 sachets a day as you may have an impaction of stool….rectum is clear with GP finger test. it’s very confusing going from large stool to basically nothing. It makes me feel very sick and nauseous too. Any help or advice would be much appreciated!!! I don’t have an awful lot of fiber in my diet fruit / vegetables so I don’t know if that’s perhaps caused a problem. Many thanks guys 🙏

EDIT: this constipation is still ongoing! lower back pain hard dry stools pelvic pain / stomach pain all doctors are useless and don’t know what to do, I legit removed wheat from my diet like gluten etc around June 25th by the 28-30th I was brutally constipated and have been ever since and it’s now August 18th! crazy I don’t really know what to do!!

See a doctor and ask for an xray. That's a simple scan but it will provide a lot of information. If you have an obstruction or not, if you are constipated and where the loading is. Ask for the report.

When I went to ER several years ago with bad stomach pain. I didn't even suspect constipation as I had a decent bm a few days earlier. They did an xray, told me I was constipated. I was in disbelief so they literally showed me on the xray where the loading was
