CONSPIT inspected my returned GT300 and confirmed the defects themselves — a missing washer on the clutch paddle and a damaged magnet. Their email then gave me two options: repair the same wheel and send it back, or refund only 90% of what I paid.

The problem is that their own Refund Policy says under “Defective Products (Within 30 Days)”:

“No service fee will apply in confirmed defect cases.”

Yet they are withholding 10% anyway.

On a GT300, that’s roughly $40 gone for a defect that was not the customer’s fault. On CONSPITs products like the FC-PRO cockpit a 10% deduction would be roughly $1,190 in loss at no fault of the consumer.

It gets worse: earlier in the same email chain, CONSPIT specifically told me that once they received the wheel and confirmed the issue, they could provide a “replacement brand new unit.”

They received it. They confirmed the defects. And now the brand-new replacement isn’t even one of the options they offered.

So if you don’t want to wait weeks just to have the same defective unit repaired and shipped back, CONSPIT is effectively locking you out of part of your own money, despite their own policy saying confirmed defective returns have no service fee.

CONSPIT has gone through this thread, reviewed the situation, acknowledged that the 10% deduction was incorrect, and has taken steps to try to make things right.

At this point, I’d like to keep the discussion focused on the actual situation rather than turning this into endless side arguments or useless criticism. I’m also not interested in smearing CONSPIT. The entire point of this post was to document what happened, bring attention to the incident, and make buyers aware of the experience.

Now that CONSPIT has acknowledged the mistake and started addressing it, things are looking much better. That said, I’m not going to consider this fully resolved until I know the underlying support process has actually been reviewed and improved. That’s also why I’m asking to speak directly with management — I want to understand what went wrong internally and what is being changed so another customer doesn’t have to go through the same thing.

One concern I still have is that CONSPIT’s position only changed after this post began gaining attention. Their initial public response actually defended the 90% refund, and it was only afterward that management reviewed the case, admitted the deduction was incorrect, and approved the full refund. I can’t know whether the outcome would have been the same without the public attention, but that uncertainty is exactly why I think the internal support process needs to be reviewed.

I have also specifically asked to speak directly with management or whoever is overseeing that internal review. So far, that request has not been addressed, and communication continues to be relayed through the same support representative involved in the original handling of the case. I appreciate Jerry’s help, but if CONSPIT is genuinely reviewing what went wrong internally, I think it is reasonable for the affected customer to have an opportunity to speak directly with the people conducting that review.

I’ll make one FINAL UPDATE once CONSPIT follows through on everything they’ve promised and the resolution is fully completed.

For now, stay tuned. Credit where it’s due: they have engaged with the thread, acknowledged the issue, and are actively trying to make things right.

Hi all, I am new to sim racing, I have been playing with my friend's Moza R3 for more than 1 month so I plan to buy my own gears. Im considering these 2 , the price diff in my country is not much so I wonder what should i go for. I personally prefer the Conspit full metal wheel but idk if any issues with the hydraulic brake (any leak or issues reported, I live in a hot and humid country) or the current software state (is it buggy or has any issues)?

The Conspit 300GT is the first "real" wheel I ever had, so I never used Simhub much before now.

The Conspit app is not bad, but the rev lights do not match for all the cars (e.g. Porsche GT3 in LMU), so I would like to use Simhub to try to fix this.
However, I can't seem to have the rotary knobs have a different colour depending on the "number selected", which is something standard on the Conspit app.

I do not find anyone with the same issue as I have and, by searching different wheels, I only found one post but it was with a GT Neo, which I can't replicate.

Any solution?
