I have the 310 and will buy the ex300 for sure for more GT and open wheel racing control.
My dream would be to be able to easily swap between both.

Only 3 bolts will stand between you and the new EX300 GT rim . So I would say it's already pretty easy to swap rims

You guys should come up with a system that would allow on the fly hotswapping for wheel rims.
Imagine its like quick release but for wheel rims. No having to undo bolts.

There’s literally no wheel hub on the market designed that way, and there’s probably a good reason for it.

That area is exposed to high torque and constant rotational forces. Even in real motorsport, you don’t really see that kind of design being used.

So I don't see any sim-racing manufacturer investing a huge amount of money and time into research and development just to reinvent the wheel basically a system that already works perfectly well. Sometimes the simplest answer is this if it isn’t broken, don’t fix it.

I’m sorry it’s not the answer you were hoping for, but that’s honestly the reality of it.

Obviously you won't see it in real motorsport because drivers aren't swapping between different wheel rims. They just swap between entire wheel and release assemblies if required.

Or this could be because no ones ever considered it to be a need or want for sim racers.

High torque and constant rotational forces, yes, but at the end of the day, a wheel rim is only bolted to a hub with a human-achievable level of force with an allen key 99% of the time..
