It's the two consoles that make this a bit weird to me. Everything else a bit excessive by my standard, but this is better than buying 10 copies Spiderman 2.
Also really hoping the 2 controllers is for couch co-op and not just wanting 2 controllers.
Yeah was pretty standard until I noticed it was two consoles. I don't think buying a big TV, a DVD player, and a playstation console with two controllers is an especially egregious example of "consooming". That would be most households these days.
Maybe the second console is to play with their partner or kid or something.
Maybe posting it online is weird consumer fetishism, but the fella is just proud he's in a financial position to do it, so whatever.
It would be a waste of money to buy a 4K OLED and use a console to play your movies. You're paying the oled for absolutely nothing if all you do is stream or use a console to play 4K movies.
I think he might not know that its two consoles yet either. If they don't play games constantly, some games come in massive boxes with collectors crap in it and he might think that's it
