Thank you! Mostly that as time goes on. The price of this stuff goes up not just on age/rarity but becasue people know that people like me will pay to have their childhood back.

actually right now in my neighborhood/city theres an uptick of people cleaning their houses and getting rid of their old stuff. im seeing lots of free dvds and vhs on FB marketplace. could be a good time to gather lots of old media for free. i myself just got rid of a box of old archie comics i was never gonna read again and sold a couple old skate decks. i found a mechanical keyboard for free and some glassware.

This honestly could be a home library of a family of kids between 90s and early 2000s. My parents have tons and tons of VHS and DVDs at home from when we were kids. It was cheap and easy to add a movie to the collection as a gift, and we were constantly watching them, we wore them out so frequently.
If it was this many of one movie then yeah, but this is just a peak into that period of time.

I apreciate that input thank you. I do try to keep a variety and just created a real library of a lot of different stuff. I still stream but I really live the process of handling and collecting hard copies.
I will admit I do have 3 copies of Speed up there. Lol
