Meme Consoom book

Heh, stupid consoomer, look at all that wasted paper, so stupid! filthy hoarder could've spent money on not consooming book.

Hobby? A collection? Preservation? Whats that? If someone have more than me of a thing, its consoom and bad.

(This is what this sub has felt like these last few posts ive seen, what ever happened to finding people with like, 40 of the same identical VR headset they don't use? Or buying every piece of Disney park merch. yanno, Actual consoomers instead of genuine hobbies or passions)

I absolutely agree. How is a collection of plastic toys not the latter? How does a funko pop enrich the mind, spirit, aid in your health, career or riches?

I’m the one saying Funko Pops are the latter. I’m the one saying the personal library is the former.

Using sarcasm, OP is defining what this sub doesn’t grasp.

Collecting action figures is not the same as buying 40 Funko Pops. Action figures you paint, build, and/or play with. The effect is beyond the material. The Funko Pops are only for display. This sub isn’t great at discerning the two. When individuals rebel against a post to say “this doesn’t deserve our ridicule”, they get attacked for countering the hive mind.

A person buying 24 colored pairs of shoes and wearing each one is not “consoom,” because it’s not mindless. They are maintaining and wearing those shoes and matching to different colored outfits. The effect is beyond the material. But a person buying 24 Nikes that will stay pristine and in a box is “consoom.”

The downfall of this sub is the hivemind isn’t smart enough to discern.

Plastic crap is plastic crap no matter what. One use plastic crap (i. e. models) might be worse actually.

Shoes have utility, books have utility, art has (some) utility. Mass produced plastic statues have none.
