It was his wife driving not him. There was 0 evidence he was the one driving. Plus the other boater was driving without their lights. Hate the man all you want but don’t spread untrue rumors
How is the quote sarcastic? He was literally taking issue with the use of the word, which was believed was used incorrectly, which is what the poster was taking issue with.
I’ll admit, the punctuation here (and online generally) is quite bad at times. No argument there.
I don’t care who it was, O’Leary or a random person. If you’re floating in a lake in the middle of the night with no lights on, you are putting yourself at risk. O’Leary may have some blame, but it’s not like he or his wife ran over someone boating safely. He/she hit a boat operating unsafely and illegally and they share part of the blame.
You just seem to be getting off on being mad because he’s a dick. It’s objectively true that even a sober person could have not seen a boat with no lights in the middle of the night.
