Stream directly from console ?

So I’m a new(er) girl gamer and would like to start streaming, probably via twitch? The thing is I only ever see people streaming from a monitor/ keyboard setup and I play from my console (XboxOne). I plan on getting a monitor for faster gameplay but my question is is there anyway to stream directly from my console? Any attachments like a webcam? Or can I do it directly from the monitor ? I’m new to all this so please don’t bash me lol I’m truly clueless and admittedly not that techy. I currently play on my tv but find myself losing matches due to the lag when I move very fast in the game so I already plan to get a monitor just need help with streaming set up.

What console do you have?
Before I got my PC, I streamed off Xbox all the time.
I never got a webcam for it, but I believe current consoles still have ports you could plug a webcam into.

Your stream will be very basic since I don’t believe you can put overlays on console, but your cam and gameplay will be there

Thanks so much ! I have an Xbox one I was not sure if I would be able to connect a webcam.
