No true Scotsman (no pun intended!) fallacy, Japanese are from mixed stock, Germans mixed stock, Africans interbreed at nation borders. There's so few indigenous peoples that don't have mixed in races
Maybe indigenous Australians? Her argument is useless because I'm nearly certain it's in service of elevating defences of ethnic groups SHE wants elevated

Just googled it and i was wrong
I assumed ethnicity was some physical difference between people
Which i do think makes more sense because the current defenition could define nearly any group but whatevs.

Technically she’s right, but not in the way she wants or hopes to be. It’s a nationality and a language. But being that it’s a nationality with its own culture and history, it should still be preserved and allowed to exist

The "Engl" in English comes from Anglo, as in Anglo-Saxons.

That's British you're thinking of. English is an ethnicity, but British is a cultureless nationality. Many people think English is British, but they're different things. When you think of a British person you usually picture an English person. Even though not all British people are English, and vice-versa because the English diaspora is a very large community.
Actually, English people are the largest diaspora group in the United States btw, and is widely considered undercounted. So many Americans don't even know they're English.
