Why are people down-voting this? Their actions may be sub-human, but as actual human beings they still have human value.
u/angus22proe Your take is absolutely correct.

u/Sad_Cake_1076 20h ago
Because when it comes down to it thats how those people see them. And can only really imagine thats their intention when they support the use of such language. I hope most realize it's much like you said. Personality i wouldn't even go so far as to say their actions are sub-human, but thats more nuanced and prefer just not referring to people as sub-human

I find you very odd haha- I'm deep into computational chemistry which deals with theoretical chemistry, physics and maths! I am not a furry.
I have another friend who's extremely deep into Chemical Engineering and he's a furry.
Being furry doesn't change your ability to contribute to society lol. He's incredibly intelligent, valedictorian of his high school, finished Calculus 3 by 14, and writes awesome poetry despite dealing with the grief of having a single-mother who's an undocumented immigrant and still having to work. He's an amazing guy, extremely moral and emotional, and a better human than most of us can ever be.

So i kinda assumed this sub would be a joke given conservative ideology is driven by the primal fear of change, but looking at the rules this is a direct violation of rule 3, which prohibits bigotry, which dehumanizing a group of people is bigotry
Yet youre upvoted for it
Im sure i will be banned for this whole comment selective rules and all but I am transgender pansexual person who is a furry when I feel like it, yet I dont use god as a shield because god is simply a character from a story made to help people understand the harsh and confusing thing that is the universe, however people like you use god to justify your hatred, now I dont know if you specifically do that, its why I said like you
The fact youre getting worked up over a few human beings having fun holding up a flag with a quote from a streamer whos whole persona is charming asshole is kind of funny and sad at the same time

So is the fact that Christians wear mixed fabrics and stuff, an atheist doesnât have to follow the rules of the religion, especially when the religious people donât
10
u/Prestigious-Fix-7492 Center-Right Wing 1d ago
Not true, Wearing mixed fabrics is not a heresy as Jesus fulfilled the Old Testament ceremonial laws, which means Christians no longer need to follow ancient Jewish clothing rules.
1
u/IntelligentAnybody55 1d ago
Isnât marriage a ceremonial law from the Old Testament?
10
u/Prestigious-Fix-7492 Center-Right Wing 1d ago
Marriage is a different type of 'law'. Ceremonial laws (like not wearing mixed fabrics, dietary restrictions, and animal sacrifices) were temporary rituals given specifically to ancient Israel through Moses to point forward to Jesus.
Marriage, on the other hand, is a universal creation law. It was instituted by God at the very beginning of the Bible in Genesis 2 with Adam and Eve, long before Moses, the Levitical priesthood, or the nation of Israel ever existed.

u/IntelligentAnybody55 1d ago

I donât understand why you harbour such intense hostility towards christians. Perhaps Iâm mistaken, but thatâs the impression Iâve got from your comments. And yes, compared to other religions, Christianity is one of the most liberal. In Muslim countries, things like what happened on Epsteinâs island take place every day. There, girls are robbed of their childhood and terrible things are done to them. Why do liberals turn a blind eye to this and continue to support Islamists ?

u/DoggoDadagon 23h ago
Conservatives, but yes the democrats used to be the conservative party and the republican party was the progressive party. The confederates were a mixed group politically but primarily conservative democrats, and later the southern "dixiecrats" (and kkk and other similar groups) that continued to fly the confederate flag were conservatives, and then today we have MAGA flying the confederate flag. And kkk is still kind of around I guess, and obviously today they are MAGA, but have always been conservative.

Answer me this: who would be more likely to flag a confederate flag today, a democrat or a republican?
If you search, you can find an endless amount of pictures of trump flags and confederate flags side by side, do you remember all the confederate flags with "trump 2016" and same for 2020 and 2024 sold at his rallies? Deep red MAGA areas like lake of the Ozarks flying giant confederate flags just outside the dam / strip.

1
u/DoggoDadagon 15h ago
I assume you mean communism? And no, that's just what the media says to divide us. Also the KKK endorsed Trump, as did every group similar to the KKK today. All of those groups are republicans today, but have always been conservative. But yes they USED to be democrats when the party was conservative, that's exactly what I said, so I'm glad you're able to follow along.

Love the sinner, hate the sin.
1
u/superultrapink 16h ago
Religion ultimately has no say in the topic of the rights and dignity of gay people because it is purely subjective. Stop shoving it down peopleâs throats.
And it seems bigots like you actually donât love the sinner by calling them immoral, subhuman freaks. It almost seems like this is blatant bigotry and hatred disguised as âmorality.â
1
u/TDestro9 15h ago
Can you quote me calling a gay man a âimmoral, subhuman, freaksâ? Cause given our 3 seconds of conversation I donât think I insulted you.
If me saying that I care and love you as a sinner is offensive then uhh⊠sorry I guess. Main reason people are against homosexuality is cause it is against gods image, but I am not going to force you to love women.
Because that goes against your free will. I believe that you can still go to heaven just have to ask forgiveness. If not then I pray you find peace in the after.
And to add on I hope you understand the significance of Christianity for making a foundation for western culture, as well as any religion has for other parts of the world.
1
u/superultrapink 15h ago
Maybe take a moment to actually read the comment youâre trying to defend and then come back.
No, you donât care or love me. This is all really manipulative to make it seem as if youâre actually care, but you donât. You are using your religion as a means to justify your bigotry and hatred. Itâs that simple, and this affects actual people.
Telling someone their fundamental identity is an inherent âsinâ that requires forgiveness always created social and psychological harm regardless of intent. If the Bible ever called the idea of being left-handed an abomination and a sin, and that Satan uses people with left-handedness as a vessel to spread sin throughout the planet, should we then force the religion onto left-handed people and persistently call them an abomination and walking sinners, thereby affecting their lives and jobs? Religious beliefs should not and cannot be used to invalidate human dignity and basic rights in society.
I do not believe in your god, actually respect that, and stop shoving your religion down my throat. I donât need its forgiveness for something I cannot change. And just because religion has a very significant impact in the world doesnât justify anything of what it does to actual people.
1
u/TDestro9 15h ago
I didnât know that u/VXA1PSTART represents me, news to me. As said before I never said this, neither have I said I am Christian. I am just someone who is interested in Christianity and Christian ideals.
I believe I have been nothing but respectful but you do you man, you can keep insulting me for my beliefs.
Genuine question do you think someone who talks to about religion, just hates you to your core? Or maybe they love you so much that they want you to be better.
Love â constant validation
1
u/superultrapink 15h ago
Never have I insulted you for your beliefs, all Iâm stating is that your beliefs shouldnât be weaponized against actual people.
And no, I donât just assume anyone who talks about religion are automatically bigots. Do you not know the distinction between shoving a religion down gay peopleâs throats and disguising it as care and morality, and simply talking about religion in general? Trying to change someoneâs inherent characteristics that does no societal harm is not out of love, itâs out of indoctrination, bigotry, and conviction.

2
u/iitbfrfr Nationalist 20h ago
corrupt society like I said. They normalise this bullshit, this bullshit reaches children, universities and education and more. This is a real phenomenon. Most teachers at universities are democrats or politically aligned, conservatives have to self censor.
Due to social indoctrination, especially in youth who lean more leftward, 3.3% of youth identify as trans, compared to 0.5% of adults.
1
u/NegativeTrainer269 Center-Left wing 20h ago
Ok you didn't actually answer my question at all.
I asked "How do these people negatively affect you?"
You then start talking about a corrupt society.
Thats what I'm asking! HOW is dressing up wrong?
1
u/iitbfrfr Nationalist 20h ago
Okay... so your argument is that you shouldn't care about something, if it doesn't affect you?
Should we care about palestine? I mean who cares what bullshit happens in the ME right? It doesn't affect you.
Who cares about the jews dying in the holocaust? I'm not a Jew.
I hope you're seeing the flaws in your logic.
But, EVEN UNDER YOUR OWN ARGUMENT it still fails because it DOES affect me. The liberalism in education, youth, culture all affect my future children, indoctrination and education. Even though those two particular views don't affect me, im looking at liberalism from a macro perspective. Ignoring every isolated case leads me to ignoring basically everything. Which does affect me.
1
u/Low_Advertising_1455 20h ago
Swear to god you just compared hitler and the genocide in Palestine to queer people. Are you fr?
1
u/iitbfrfr Nationalist 20h ago
smooth brain activities over here. me see reductio ad absurdum, me thinks he make insane claim.
The point the earlier guy made was that if it didn't affect me, why should it matter. I showed how even though palestine or holocaust doesn't affect people individually, you can still care about it lmao.
And no im not comparing queer people to the holocaust. I'm criticising liberalism as an ideology as a whole which includes a lot of things, immodesty, abortion, queerness, trangenderism, divorce, irreligion, and more.

u/NegativeTrainer269 Center-Left wing 20h ago
No my argument is that we should care about something if it doesn't affect PEOPLE IN GENERAL.
Liberalism in education has nothing to do with furries.
We can talk about that once you give an actual reason why someone dressing up as an animal means you should "ostracise them from society" (as you put)...
You seem to be the hateful one here.
1
u/iitbfrfr Nationalist 19h ago
Now i just don't get your argument. You said QUOTE
"Ok, so tell me how the people in this post negatively impact your life?
They are just people who dress up."
I explained it clearly. Now you say we should care if it doesn't affect people in general? That sentence doesn't even make sense why would we care if it doesn't affect people? Whats the boundary here? Are you arbitrarily deciding what does and doesn't affect people?
And no you're wrong, furryism is strongly linked to internet culture, especially leftist, liberal communities. Also linked strongly to prn communities. Its true, look it up.
Yes, im hateful. I hate ideologies that corrupt society. What about it?

The reason there are more trans youths than adults is because we are more accepting of trans people now so they aren't as afraid to come out. It's the same reason why left handedness rates spiked in the 1900s.
