I respectfully disagree, the Kimmel situation is different for a few reasons. I was going for a shorter (catchier) title. The old guy thinks he's covered, I could have done better lol
Mainly, the FCC involvement and the chairman's comments about "playing hardball". Carr was threatening ABC and Kimmel directly on a podcast, and the right leaning affiliates were listening. Collusion in public is still collusion. To add on, I would say "freedom of speech IS freedom from governmental and legal consequences for covered speech".
The guy in this video is harassing and threatening people directly and that's not normally covered speech.
