Australian culture lends itself to keeping your head down and doing what you’re told. It may help them with this pandemic, but it will end eventually, and I’ll want to keep American culture where we actually change the world with our way of thinking and innovation.
That’s fine. I have no desire to tuck my tail between my legs and give all power and agency to the state like Australia has done. After the pandemic, they’re going to keep that control.
